2014 Nutcracker Auditions!
Come and be a part of the 10th annual Flower City Ballet Nutcracker! This is a full-length community performance that celebrates the art of dance and music like no other. Every year we grow and expand our production, including local dance company choreographers and dancers as well as amazing guest artists. Once again we will be dancing at the School of The Arts with a special school performance on Friday the 19th and two general admission matinees on Saturday and Sunday the 20th and 21st. Flower City Ballet, as well as Once Dance Co., will participate in Rochester Conservatory of Dance 3rd Annual Performance

Welcome Hannah Chisholm!
We are proud to announce the newest addition to our studio, Hannah Chisholm. Born and raised in Napa, California where she began her ballet training at age 10, dancing with the Royal Academy of Dance of Napa Valley and Marin Ballet in San Rafael. She started choreographing and teaching ballet classes at 17. Before graduating high school Hannah danced all over California including San Francisco Ballet, Long Beach Ballet Arts Center, and Oakland Ballet Theater. After graduation Hannah attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where she was on scholarship with Utah Ballet. Throughout her college career Hannah continued to teach and choreograph. After earning her bachelors degree in ballet Hannah moved to Rochester, New York to support her husband’s pursuit of his doctorate from the Eastman School of Music. Hannah will be teaching our Tuesday and Thursday classes, ballet ll and adult beginner ballet.
